When I was about 12, my mother finally let me start to play with the "real" beads she used in her dress making, rather than the chunky plastic things I had spent my childhood stringing into necklaces, and sorting into piles. I was delighted, and instantly, a life long passion was born, both for making, and for selling jewellery. (Although, if my school realised I was selling earrings out of my backpack during lunch break, I'm not sure what they'd have made of it)

I’m also fascinated by traditional weaving and yarn working crafts - button making, crochet, inkle loom and tablet weaving. Hopefully you will see more of that from me in the future!
